Following an economics degree from the University of Amsterdam Walter spent 4 years with Unilever, 5 years with BBDO, and 16 years with Heineken.

After Unilever, where he worked on Adult Impulse Ice Cream he went to BBDO where he became International Strategy & Planning Director. Walter mostly worked with international clients to develop their brand, portfolio and growth strategies.

In 2003, he joined Heineken NV as Global Marketing Communication Director responsible for Global Heineken brand communications, digital and global sponsorships including the UEFA Champions League, Rugby World Cup, Music and Film.

Walter lived and worked for years in Ireland and Africa where he enjoyed the local Heineken business operations. Back in Amsterdam in 2015 after finishing the General Management Program at Harvard Business School he became Senior Global Director / CMO responsible for International Brands and Global Craft Category with end2end responsibility including supply chain, finance, innovation, digital transformation and business development.

With a passion for developing pragmatic business and brand strategies and performance improvement programmes he enjoys working with clients, particularly in consumer goods, media, sports apparel and Africa related business.

As an ex-professional athlete for the Dutch National Hockey team Walter has a true passion for sports. Cooking, boating, reading, and skiing are just a few other things he enjoys.

Diederik is a senior director with 25+ experience in emerging and mature competitive markets. Robust background in business turnaround, startup operations and joint venture management. He lived and worked throughout Asia, Europe and Africa and has specific intimate knowledge of emerging/mature markets and a proven track record of delivering strong top and bottom-line results across a wide range of countries.

After finishing his Bachelor of Business Economics degree in Groningen in 1997 Diederik started his career as Management Sales-Trainee at KPN Telecom.

In 2000 Diederik joined Heineken NV where he built an international career. He held a variety of senior commercial roles in commercial and general management on local, regional and global level. In his last role at Heineken he was responsible as Regional Sales Director for the African & Middle East Region. His main focus was on supporting & challenging the local MT teams on subjects such as Sales Execution, Distributor/Distribution Management, Revenue Management and People Management.

Beginning of 2019 Diederik became the General Manager new markets at a global premium fruit juice company where he developed and executed a new strategic plan for all new brand building- and commodity markets.

Due to his international career Diederik is fluent in Dutch and English and also speaks German and French. During his free time he enjoys playing golf, skiing and boating.

Over the past 20+ years, Ynse has worked with senior executives on strategy issues at the intersection of business and technology.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Ynse was an entrepreneur in digital advertising and he still is involved in mentoring and investing in social impact and energy transition ventures.

After selling his company, Ynse joined Accenture Strategy, where he built and led Accenture’s Strategy & Sustainability practices for Asia Pacific and for France and BeNeLux, applying sustainability and technology as a lens for identifying and creating sustainable business value for his clients.

As a thought leader in sustainability, circular economy and the energy transition, Ynse has a long track record of serving as board member, knowledge partner, facilitator and advisor to various public and private sector authorities and institutions such as the Dutch Sustainable Growth Coalition and chambers of commerce. He twice co-authored the world’s largest study on CEO attitudes to sustainability for the United Nations.

Ynse holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
